So, yes, one part of me wouldn't want to spend nearly £1,500 on an in-car version, which in all honesty doesn't add value to your resale price (but does make it more attractive and will sell quicker) when a TomTom virtually does the trick BUT, I'd still always spec idrive & nav, even given the cost, as it's just so nicely intergrated into your car, and the latest version look bloody fantastic.Īs comparison, the Nissan SatNav, even on my previous 08 plate 350Z, was absolutely fantastic and easily competed with TomToms of the time. Traffic, cameras, weather, google search, etc, and all for about £170 from memory. I recently bought a modern TomTom (just before I got the 370Z) and was mightily impressed with all the 'live' features. This thread has the potential to get a 'best thread' award and maybe, just maybe, some bans (Matt, come out of hibernation for this one mate ).
